I go to only a few Local Place's here in So.  California

I Like to go to Castaic Lake, Pyramid Lake, Lake Peru, Different Piers at the ocean, and streams such as Bouquet canyon in Santa Clarita.

Located next to Interstate 5 (take Smokey Bear Exit), 20 miles north of Magic Mountain Amusement Park in Valencia, CA. This lake offers picnic areas (including 5 unique sites that are accessible only by boat), courtesy docks and an accessible fishing site. The ramp to the accessible site is located just off Parking Lot A. It leads to six shaded picnic sites, with tables, barbecues and fishing access. An accessible restroom is located in Parking Lot A. Parking is $6.00 per vehicle. Vehicle w/trailer - $12.00.

Marina facilities include a general store, snack bar, bait and tackle shop, wet and dry boat storage and boat rental. No gas services are available. Phone number for the Marina is (661) 257-2892.

Located 7 miles north of Magic Mountain Amusement Park in Valencia, CA just off Interstate 5 (take Lake Hughes exit.) The lake is managed by the L.A. County Department of Parks and Recreation and is open from sunrise to sunset. It offers boating, fishing, boat rentals, swimming, and picnicking. A parking fee of $6.00 is charged per vehicle. Trailers, boats and jet skis are an additional $6.00. An accessible fishing site is available at the lower lake. Call (661) 257-4050 for more information.

Littlerock Reservoir is at that time of year when the water is lowering and all stocking of fish has stopped. Located in the Littlerock Recreation Area, approximately 3 miles from the town of Littlerock. Fishing is allowed at the reservoir as well as upstream. Boats and other watercraft must not have engines over 10 HP and may not exceed the 5 MPH (or wakeless speed limit.) Camping and picnicking sites are available, as well as a store and boat rentals. Overnight camping is allowed only in designated campground sites. Fees: Passenger-carrying vehicles (Day Use Parking) - $3.00; Campground site per night with 1 vehicle - $10.00; Fee for additional vehicle at site - $3.00. Accessible fishing sites are available. Located approximately 10 miles west of Palmdale, CA on Elizabeth Lake Rd. Elizabeth Lake Picnic Area is open for day-use only. This lake offers fishing and boating for sailboats, non-motorized watercraft and boats with 10 h.p. or less. Jet skis and engines over 10 h.p. are prohibited. Swimming and water play is permitted, and a picnic area is provided. No camping is available. A National Forest Adventure Pass is required for vehicles parked in this area. Located approximately 3 miles from Big Pines, on Big Pines Highway. This lake offers fishing and boating for non-motorized craft only. Not recommended for swimming or water play. A picnic area is provided, and many campgrounds are close by. A National Forest Adventure Pass is required for vehicles parked in this area. Call the Forest Service at (661) 944-2187 for more information.

No fishing is allowed in Morris, Cogswell, Big Tujunga, Pacoima, or Bouquet Reservoirs.

Accessibility symbol (wheelchair)Fishing symbolThe West Fork of the San Gabriel River (and its tributaries) from the second bridge upstream from Highway 39 to Cogswell Reservoir, is designated as a native trout "catch and release" area only. Only artificial lures with a single barbless hook may be used. This area provides accessible fishing platforms for visitors with disabilities. These facilities are behind a locked gate, however, visitors with disabilities are permitted access to the area by motor vehicle. Contact the San Gabriel River Ranger District at (626) 335-1251 for more information.
